Course Renovation
Welcome to the future of Alpine Country Club! We're thrilled to share details about an exciting golf course renovation project scheduled to begin in July 2025.
Renowned golf course architect, John Fought, is returning to Alpine to create a state-of-the-art practice facility and update key features of our acclaimed private golf course. This partnership builds on our long-standing relationship with John, who led a hole redesign in 2008 and revamped our bunkers in 2018.

Construction begins July 2025.
The driving range renovation will transform your practice experience. The new range will be 3.5 times larger, twice as wide, and up to 60 yards longer, with more hitting bays, targets, greens, bunkers, and a fairway for realistic practice.
A double-sided design ensures dedicated spaces for lessons and practice. Golfers will hit off mats just 1-2 times weekly, down from 3-4. This upgrade guarantees an exceptional experience for all members.

The new short game practice area is The Hub of Alpine - a place to sharpen your skills and connect with fellow members. The #9 green seamlessly flows into the practice green, creating a natural transition on the course.
A new cart path links this area to Hole #1 and the practice tee for effortless play. The undulating green offers varied slopes, while the integrated chipping area on the driving range enhances accessibility. This cutting-edge facility will elevate your game while becoming the club's central hub for golfers.

Two new bunkers on the left create a strategic visual target for your drive, guiding you toward the ideal landing area. With its challenging layout and stunning aesthetics, this hole promises to be a memorable highlight of the course renovation.
As part of the renovation, the back nine is receiving significant upgrades to enhance playability and challenge.
Hole #15 gains a new tee box, extending yardage from the black tees for added distance off the tee.
Hole #17 is transforming into one of the course's longest par 5's, with a redesigned green complex moving back 35 yards. A new greenside bunker introduces strategic depth, while brush removal on the right side rewards precise approach shots.
A carefully planned grassing strategy will enhance playability, aesthetics, and sustainability.
The greens will feature a blend of Bluegrass seed and existing green plugs for a seamless transition, while Bluegrass sod will be used round tees, greens, bunkers, and ponds for a lush, uniform look. Tees, fairways, and out-of-play areas will be seeded with Bluegrass for durability, while Fescue will be used on steep mounds and waste areas.
